Bellingham Trip

So we found out that Kate really like sour cream! She could not get enough of the sour cream on my plate and the rice on my dad's plate. As you can see she was extremely happy! We went up to Bellingham for the weekend to celebrate my brother's birthday and the fact that he is now out of the military. Lucy loved to hangout with Toby and overall we had a pretty good time.

It's been a while...

So it has been a while since I have posted so there is a lot to catch up on. We will start with Christmas. Santa was so good to the girls this year. Lucy got her pillow pet and so much Tinkerbell stuff. She has been sleeping with her new Tinkerbell sleeping bag every since Christmas! Kate wasn't really aware of what was going on but she sure had fun playing with the wrapping paper and bows. Brian and I love our Christmas present ( the addition). We are getting so much use out of having more space.
Kate had her 10 month checkup this last week and she weighs 20lbs and 28 inches long. She is in the 90th percentile for everything! She is following suit with Lucy. Lucy has been wanting to go to the doctor for anything lately but once we got there she didn't say a word. Lucy, Kate, and Brian all got their flu shots and everyone did really good.
Not much else is going on around here. I have started a class called Booty Camp and it is awesome. However I pushed my knees a little too far on the first workout and one is pretty swollen. Brian has also decided that he needs to get better in shape. We are doing more upgrades to the house as time allows.

Love the Holidays!

There is so much happening over the holidays as well as being on break from school. It has been fun lately with the girls. Lucy talks about Santa a lot but she never wants to see him or talk to him. I think it is the fact that he is a man. She has always had a problem with men she doesn't know. Kate is getting so big! She has finally stated crawling and now that she knows how she is all over the place. It has definitely made her happier (mommy too).

From start to finish??

So Brian has done a lot of work on the addition and here is what we started with and what we have so far. There is stil work to do, but the major stuff is pretty much done. The girls love being able to run around and it has made so much difference!

The Building Continues!

Well the building is still going on. I will be extremely happy when this is done so we are not living in a construction zone anymore. Brian is doing such a good job on all of the addition and kitchen remodeling. I am so blessed to have someone to wants to do this type of stuff! We took down the kitchen wall recently and it is really amazing how much it opens up the entire area. Brian has been working on putting in new cabinets, building an island, and putting on counter-tops. This week should be amazing because the counter-tops and new floor are the last of the big projects inside!!! Just in time for a X-mas party on the 11th!

Winter Fun!

So this year Lucy actually wanted to go out in the snow. Grandpa Ron was the first one to take her outside and she loved every minute! He showed her how to make snow angels as well as making her first snowman. Since them she wanted to go outside everyday and she never wanted to come in. If we didn't make her come in she would have stayed out there for hours! On Thanksgiving I was able to play outside with Lucy and my nephew Keanan. They loved the icicles the most even though the dads made them their own igloo!
